



Building Blocks, Building Brains is a series of easy to understand learning modules designed to educate parents and early childhood professionals about early brain development. The program can be accessed and completed online or delivered as a face-to-face workshop. The training package includes ready to use Powerpoint presentations, trainer and student manuals.

Pre2Three is a program that connects expectant and new parents with “just in time” information via a weekly e-newsletter delivered directly to subscribers’ email inbox. This resource delivers important, evidenced-based pregnancy and parenting information in an easily accessible format and provides useful links to local resources, services and relevant community events.

SPARK! is an innovative project that helps youth explore the connections between art, mental health and the teenage brain. Digital storytelling has been used as a tool to facilitate empowerment, community development, personal transformation and healing. The end products (3-5 minute digital stories) provide teens a way to tell their personal stories in their own voice using a variety of media including still images, video segments, and music.

With the Child in Mind is an online training course designed to educate judges, family lawyers and child protection workers about the impact of early experiences such as neglect or child abuse, on a child’s long term physical, mental and emotional health. This web-based training portal is organized into 7 key learning modules and brings the most current knowledge from the science of early brain development into courtrooms across Canada.
